Jane LeBlanc

Great job showing the difference in the markings of the young and the mature birds. Nicely done.

Debra Plett

Thank Jane for the feedback. With the juvenile being so big now it would be difficult to tell the difference if you did not know what to look for.

Yves Langlois

Perfect picture with great details Debra. I did not realise they were so big. Love the one on the right near the greenery. He sure look like he is gone a make his first fly pretty soon.

Debra Plett

Yes I think you are right Yves. That was has been sitting up on the edge of the nest for a couple of day now. Unfortunately I will probably miss the first flight.

Heather Mellon

Beautiful family portrait, Debra. The young ones like they're thriving here and you caught them in a great pose. Lovely composition, lighting and detail here too.

Debra Plett

Yes they do look healthy, the male Osprey is great at providing for the family. Thanks very much Heather.

Description
There is 3 juvenile osprey in the nest I just couldn't get all 3 of them with their mom at the same time. The other one was eating and would poke his head up for a second or two. This picture was taken July 24.
